VITIS Orthodontic wax
is used to protect sharp
components of the orthodontic appliance so as not to cause irritation
oral mucosa. A fixed orthodontic appliance, especially in
in the first phase of treatment rubs against the oral mucous membranes causing
micro-injuries and abrasions, which turn into painful aphthae.
Orthodontic wax is applied to those parts of the fixed appliance that
most rub against the mucosa. Thanks to the use of wax
orthodontic appliance, we protect the mucous membranes and prevent the formation of
painful lesions.
VITIS Orthodontic wax
is shaped into small rolls, which are packed in a hygienic
case. This form of wax facilitates portioning, shaping the wax into a ball, and
sticking it to the chosen spot. A hygienic, closable case makes it easier
transporting and storing wax, which is always ready to use
when necessary.
How to use VITIS Orthodontic wax
Wax usually comes in small
pieces (tubes). In case of discomfort and rubbing of the appliance against the membranes
mucous membranes, take an appropriate piece of wax and shape it into a ball with your fingers.
Then place the wax on the spot that irritates (rubs) and
the mucous membrane. The wax should remain on the teeth until the first meal
or drinking. Swallowing is not a major problem. Use as
as often as needed.
VITIS Orthodontic
this is a series of oral care products
oral care intended for people with fixed orthodontic appliances. In
the Orhodontic line includes paste, liquid, toothbrush, wax, and
tablets. VITS Orthodontic paste and liquid contain fluoride, which
effectively protect teeth against cavities, to which teeth are susceptible during
treatment, are particularly vulnerable. Cetylpyridinium chloride reduces plaque
dental plaque, the removal of which during treatment is particularly stubborn.
The liquid and paste with green apple flavor provide a long-lasting sensation
freshness, which is extremely valuable for orthodontic patients.
Orthodontic specialists recommend that during orthodontic treatment
- eat in small pieces and avoid biting with incisors,
- avoid sticky foods that accumulate around appliance parts and are difficult to remove,
- avoid hard foods, chewing which may cause damage to the appliance,
-
avoid excessive consumption of acidic and sweet products, which in
most contribute to the formation and development of caries,
-
consume products rich in vitamin A (eggs, milk) and beta-carotene,
that support the regeneration of the mucous membrane, often irritated during
orthodontic treatment.
